Transportation

Subway

There are several subway stops within the vicinity of The ACE Hotel.  The closest is the N, R line at the 28th St stop.

Because the ACE Hotel is located in a central part of Manhattan, there are a variety of subway lines that will put you close to the ACE Hotel.  Below is a list of subway lines and the recommended stops to take:

  • 1 - 28th St or Penn Station / 34 St
  • 2, 3 - Penn Station / 34 St
  • B, D, F, M - Herald Square / 34 St
  • N, R - 28th St or Herald Square / 34 St
  • Q - Herald Square / 34 St
  • A, C, E - Penn Station / 34 St
  • 6 - 34th St

PATH

Take either the Journal Square (Orange) or Hoboken (Blue) line to the 33rd St station.  The ACE Hotel is a short walk or cab ride from the 33rd St PATH Station

Metro-North

The Metro-North line can be taken to Grand Central Terminal at 42nd Street.  From there, we recommend you take the Times Square Shuttle (or the S line) to the Times Square Station, and transfer to the N,R going downtown to  the 28th St stop.

NJ Transit / LIRR

We recommend that travelers on trains that arrive at Penn Station to either walk to the ACE Hotel or take a short cab ride.
